Convention Call
The convention call package can be found – HERE
The Convention Call, official credentials, and other important documents were mailed directly to unions. If you have not received your package by October 1, 2025, please contact us immediately.
The Convention Call contains important information on the convention – how to register, how to submit resolutions, elections, accommodations, first time delegates seminar, etc…
Constitution
The Constitution of the Federation is the guiding document of our organization. Representation at Convention of the NL Federation of Labour, as well as the procedure for submitting resolutions, holding elections, conduct and procedures, etc. are governed by our Constitution (Article 4).

Delegate Allotments
The number of delegates each union/local labour council can send to Convention is laid out in Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution.
A delegate allotment letter which outlines the number of delegates assigned to each union/labour council is included in the Convention Call package mail out.
All unions are encouraged to consider equity representation as part of their delegations.

Registration Fee
The registration fee for each delegate is $300.
On-site registration will take place on the afternoon of Sunday, November 16 and before opening plenary on November 17.
Credentials
Credentials are covered by Article 4, Section 5 of the Constitution. Official credentials are sent out with the Convention Call package. Completed credentials must be submitted with registration fee payment.

Credentials Deadline
The deadline to submit credentials and payment is November 2, 2025 (15 days prior to the start of Convention, as per the Constitution, Article 4, Section 5).
Accommodations Booking Link
Please be advised that a block of rooms are set aside at the Delta Hotel.
The room rate for Convention is: $184.00/night

NOTE: The Federation is not responsible for booking accommodations for delegates.
Resolutions
Resolutions and Constitutional Amendments are governed by Article 4, Section 11 of the Constitution.
Resolutions must be submitted by 4:30 pm (NT) on October 17, 2025.
Each resolution must be submitted on a separate sheet, deal with one subject, and be no longer than 150 words. Resolutions must be signed by the presiding officer and Secretary Treasurer or designate of the submitting union.
Constitutional amendments must indicate the Articles/Sections/Sub-sections that are being amended as well as the specific wording/changes being proposed.
